Audiokniha vznikla v rámci mnohojazyčného projektu My Little Prince Project k 80. výročí od prvního vydání Exupéryho novely Malý princ. Součástí projektu je i videoklip a tématická píseň „Já, růže“ (v české verzi nazpívaná Lucií Vondráčkovou s hostujícím Radkem Baborákem na lesní roh), která je společně s další autorskou hudbou Zdeňka 'Berry' Berana také součástí obsahu audioknihy.

Na dramaturgii tohoto díla se spolupodílel režisér David Urban, do češtiny přeložila Zdeňka Stavinohová a obal (cover) vytvořila Rézi Bazarova.

Ce livre audio a été créé dans le cadre d'un projet multilingue My Little Prince Project des Audiofairytellers pour le 80e anniversaire de la première édition du Petit Prince d'Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
